Accepting the terms

These terms apply to everyone who uses phxpicks.com, including the “For businesses” area. Using the site means accepting them.

What a rating means

Our lists reflect research into public information and our editorial judgment. No rating promises that a business will do good work, charge a fair price or have room for you, and whatever you arrange with one is your own affair.

Third-party information

Star scores, how many reviews there are, opening times and pictures are all pulled from public sources, and any of them can shift overnight. Confirm details and licenses with the business before you hire.

Listings and owners

Once we can confirm who owns a business, claiming it costs nothing. Owner edits go online immediately and are reviewed afterward, and we may undo any that are inaccurate, promotional or contrary to these terms. New businesses appear only after we review the request.

Pro and Top plans

Both are one-year subscriptions charged through Stripe, and a business may test either one free for a week, a single time. Pro opens a full profile; Top gives a business already on a list one of its leading spots, with a label. A canceled plan keeps working until the paid year runs out.

Things not to do

Use the site for illegal purposes, copy it in bulk with bots, try to reach restricted areas, impersonate someone else or submit misleading information.

Rights in the content

The writing, research, list order, design and the Phoenix Picks name belong to this site or are licensed to it. You may quote with a link; larger reuse needs our consent. Report copyright concerns to info@phxpicks.com.

Limitation of liability

We aim for accurate, current information but cannot promise it will be right on any given day, and the work or products of listed businesses are their responsibility, not ours. These terms may be updated; the version published here is the one in effect.
